Dr. Imbriale

Dr. Robert Imbriale was born in the New York City suburb of Staten Island, New York. Growing up, he was fortunate to always have a variety of pets in the home - everything from dogs and cats to guinea pigs, hamsters, rabbits, birds, and even a variety of reptiles. Constantly surrounded by animals, he knew from childhood that he wanted to be a veterinarian. During high school and college, he worked as a veterinary technician at a small animal hospital for 7 years, only falling more in love with the profession during that time.

Dr. Imbriale attended the College of Staten Island as a biology major with a focus on animal sciences, graduating magna cum laude. Immediately after graduation, he decided to obtain his veterinary degree and chose to attend his mentor’s alma mater - Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine. After moving to Gainesville, Florida to complete his clinical year of school at the University of Florida, Dr. Imbriale graduated from Ross in 2014. After enjoying the Florida weather so much, he decided to stay in-state and move to Orlando to begin his career as a small animal veterinarian.

While living in Gainesville, Dr. Imbriale met his (now) wife, Amanda. They began dating in November of 2012 and, together with their chihuahua mix, Teddy, moved to Orlando. They married in May of 2020. Their family now includes a rescue terrier named Winston, a Quaker parrot named Rory, and a tank full of tropical fish. As a family, they enjoy going to Disney, attending live events, and sci-fi or anime conventions.

Dr. Imbriale has devoted himself to being a small animal practitioner in the Orlando area since 2014, striving to bring the very best in medical and surgical care to his patients. He prides himself on his patient-first mentality and ability to educate and inform his clients. He believes that one of the most important aspects of his role is being a voice for the voiceless and translating the non-verbal signals from our furry family members so that we know how best to help them. Dr. Imbriale loves all creatures, large and small, however, he has a soft spot for small dogs, especially those that remind him of his beloved Teddy and Winston.
